Not accidentally, the similarity with the VW Beetle, which is created around the same time. Unfortunately it has also this similarities in the chassis, what explains the then somewhat negative rated driveability. It is unusual to find the liquid-cooled Mercedes engine installed longitudinally behind the axle, while it is at the same time in the 170 V in front. Inside is plenty of room, only for luggage the space is limited. After all, the car is more well-engineered than its predecessor.
