Two special features characterize the period in which Daimler-Benz also produces vehicles with rear engine. There are once theenormous economic difficulties with high unemployment and the influence of aerodynamics on the car body. Also in this vehicle there is a little of the ideas e.g. from Edmund Rumpler, which pleads for vehicles with lower air resistance. So it comes to the rear-engine, because it is cheaper to realize and helps to round the front end. There is still a 150 H as a roadster with 40 kW (55 HP) from 1.5 liters displacement.
