Ford of Europe is increasingly back behind American models. Thus, in the United States the new Kuga there is already somewhat longer as 'Escape'. With the Mondeo, the situation is even more difficult because of the closure of the plant in Genk, Europeans will have to wait about 1 year for the new, although in U.S. it is long ago as 'Fusion' on the market.

Compared to its predecessor, the Kuga is lowered a bit what certainly benefit its optics and the consumption. Gradually the differences blur between SUV and station wagon, because both are now being offered as 'just' two-wheel-driven vehicles and also normal station wagons are available with all-wheel.

There still remains the (seat) height and the special efforts to the load, from the can be taken in the new almost 50 liters more than in the old. Also in the class starting at 21,000 euros the electric tailgate is arrived which is to facilitate the opening with appropriate movements.
