During the planning phase it is probably intended more powerful engines, such as the V8. Because of the difficult sales situation it is only as successor to the Ford Eifel. If you compare it, you see the development of the bodies at that time. The hood with the typical radiator grille and the in the middle to the bottom curved bumper (1939) is still present, but the fenders almost come up to them and now take on the headlights. From the diagonally sloping rear is made a hump. The luggage space is now standard, not as an extra. More space is available in the interior.
An even greater progress will be to the next model, which comes after a new edition of the humpback Taunus (G73A) after the Second World War starts in 1952. Figure 3 shows the changes at the front of the first 'special' named model from 1951. In the interior area belongs to it for example the armrests and the hinged windows rear. There are many variants of the G93A/G73A of various car body companies. This includes vans / station wagons, open versions and two rear doors and possibly 6 seats in the sedan.
