There is nearly everything again, because of the hybrid technology nothing has changed. Neither diesel nor the electric motor have become stronger. Also not more battery capacity is available than at the 3008 Hybrid 4. One says from it that it can keep up with the German competition, eg the processing and the (surcharge) 4-zone air conditioning. And Peugeot says from the Germans, they would like to opt for a modern form of mobility.

The significantly longer 508 forms the basis of the 3008 and has correspondingly more wheelbase but however, has 100 kg more weight. Although both have by electric drive an all-wheel drive, the 508 RXH nevertheless emphasizes the more sedan-like. Chic, the three vertical glow sticks well below the headlights. The price must be seen in terms of what is offered as standard. Since are included the climatatronic, the panoramic glass roof and the xenon light. However, you have to pay quite well for other colors than white.

Well even the diesel engine with its injection and exhaust systems belongs to the most expensive, what can be combined with an electric motor plus set of batteries. Volvo demands more money for that , however offers the plug-in technology with ten times as large battery. However, the Peugeot 508 is more spacious and to get without limitation of the series on 1000 pieces. And when you consider that a sound, navigation and telematic system is included, the purchase price is to be seen in a different light. 10/13
