1987 Honda starts with great courage the first fully enclosed motorcycle in the 600cc class. Comes to the very low air resistance a foxy motor that is carefully reworked in 1991. Amazingly, bore and stroke changed despite constant displacement and also changed the valve mechanism between finger follower to direct drive. The improvement of the engine remains the model, even if one do not see it at the above dates. Here dominates the insurance tariff. Thus the model 'RR' achieves with electronic fuel injection up to 85 kW (115 hp) and a maximum speed of 13.500 rpm.
Now if that sounds too much like hypersporting motorcycle that can be calmed. Test drivers report that one could accelerate also in top gear from speeds below 100 km / h without problems. The ergonomics are much praised. Moreover, despite the frequent style changes a remarkable durability. A potential buyer of a motorcycle with 600 cc should keep in mind with this machine. One owner speaks of a 'double personality'.
