This is one of the first models. To improve power and durability, some modifications were undertaken:
- Charge air intercooler
- Charger cooled down by fluid
- Petrol injection
- DOHC + 4 valves per cyl.

Thus, racing versions managed powers of more than 220 kW (300 HP).
