Formulary Air funnel (Venturi)

It doesen't make much sense, e.g., fitting out a small capacity engine with a too large funnel. Therefore, it is wise to calculate the suitable diameter depending on the total displacement, the number of cylinders and and the engine's maximun RPM. Please take note, that we're dealing here with a rule of thumb formula.

Check your calculation!     You need help?
Please enter numbers only in first three of the four fields!
VH Total displacement dm≥ (liter)
nmax Maximum RPM 1/min
z Number of the cylinders
dL Diameter (venturi) mm
