Finally a car, one does not have to spend a lot of time with the car dealer for buying. There is available only one petrol engine, although it is sold abroad seen from the displacement with a similarly sized diesel engine with 55 kW (75 hp) and 190 Nm of torque. The is produced in the Suzuki plant in India and e.g. offered in the Opel Agila. Except the body front and rear, this was made with the same technique in the Hungarian Suzuki plant in Esztergon. Also the smaller three-cylinder is not offered in Germany.

However, the cooperation with Opel was finished by their model 'Karl' since the spring of 2015. Actually, Suzuki could broaden the Splash offer in Germany now, for example, to the smaller three-cylinder, but obviously, the to be expected sales of the minivan are not promisingly. So the options list is very short, does not even exist in principle. You can still choose the slightly outdated and expensive converter automatic, but you see top in the data that these alone already results in 13 g/km more CO2.

Stay except red and white free of surcharge, still a few metallic colours for an additional charge and possibly aluminum rims and that's it. However, the car is very well equipped for the base price, for example, has standard air conditioning and also from the steering wheel-to-use MP3 radio. Of course, the safety equipment is relatively complete at the front. Abroad, it is available in three trim levels Basic, Club and Comfort. In the last video you can see the result at the NCAP test with four stars.

The car is carefully developed away from the once little clunky and narrow van, although it is with only 9 centimetres difference is still almost as high as wide. However, it has with 0.32 already a refined aerodynamics. It is still short and missed and therewith do not miss the possible affection of city people. One can only wish a speedy facelift, the renewed offer of the 1-liter three-cylinder and then perhaps also in Germany more success. 04/15
