The latest creations of car manufacturers become more and more similar. You think to yourself once instead of the Renault logo on the front of a Megane one of VW. Even the kinks in the hood laterally downwards (instead of previously upwards) are abundant identical. Well, at the Megane they are also lifted out from the middle and go up into the A-pillar. Interesting how large the front cover has become. From front fender stays only a short piece that from the door reaches just about to a perpendicular line above the front wheel. In the rear roof line are then to recognize the differences to the Golf, this time rather a suggestion for VW.

What yet attract attention at the new Megane? It has remained the old seen from its wheelbase. Of course, only in the ECO models. Then you already notice in the price list the many models withspecial prices that are otherwise only after the first selling wave of a new car.

Oh yes, there's yet the Grand Tour. After all, an achievement this to offer directly to re-start. There are also available each three real variants of petrol and diesel engines. It is strange, however, that the Grand Tour (values in parentheses) with significantly more cargo volume except for the sportiest model, has significantly less payload than the four-door.

And as the two-door model is presented! This is officially a coupe, despite the same wheelbase. At first glance it appears to be upvalued, because its base price is about 3000 euros higher than the four-door. Then you realize that the base engine is missing, the upgraded Coupe based on the same engine even is 600 euros cheaper. Thus nevertheless a cheaper two-door? No, on the other hand not, because it is available with a two-liter engine, from the still with 360Nm at 3000 rpm were squeezed 33 kW (45 HP) more. And the engine does not exist in the other two versions. And with just under 28,000 euros this is more expensive than any other Megane versions.

And then the double-clutch gearbox. This is only available in a single diesel variant, in any petrol car, even not at the 'Sport'. It costs compared to VW, yet moderate 1500 Euro surcharge, but at the same the engine loses 20 Nm of torque. Technically you can already explain this, a potential buyer but probably not. 01/14
