Many consider it to be the most typical Volvo. Why? Because it represents the typical tedency for simplicity, but also to angular lines, e.g. with the first, nearly vertically standing hatchback. It actually creates at the best time of the Swedes. With the Amazon, one has sold more cars than all Volvo "humps" together and conquered the world. This gives more flexibility, for example to build a real coupe. At the same time there is still not this desire for security in the U.S. market, that Volvo forces to relatively clumsy and heavy cars.
