That it is from Ferrari himself not particularly loved, this mortgage he shares with his predecessor, the Dino 246 GT. So it receives in the beginnung no brand logo of the company. At this point, there is an end with the similarities, after all the 308 GT 4 is a 2+2 seater and not only because completely different styled. It is from Bertone, while the predecessor was celebrated as a stroke of genius by Pininfarina.

The tube frame of the 246 changed and is now driven by a eight-cylinder - but here in an older version. The maximum speed now achievable punish the critics wrong. However, shortly thereafter in Italy a 208 version comes on the market, which due the tax law is content with 2 liters displacement. In the picture above however is to see the 308 with Campagnolo rims since 1975.

At closer look the Ferrari is similar to other mid-engine sports cars with transverse engine up to the extremely steep rear seat bench. In front is only room for two coolers, the spare tyre and battery. Typically, the up-current cooling air from the center of the hood, which here with open, optional sunroof immediately tends towards the interior. Heat is at all a problem of this car. How good that it is available with air conditioning. The coolness benefits unfortunately not the trunk, which is located behind the engine compartment and over the exhaust system.

One should not assume that an expensive car once and again today is also processed accordingly. Even the Porsche 911 is said to be not better processed as for example the VW Golf, but from the Ferrari 308 GT4 well separate both worlds. This affects not only the rust-prone body, but above all the electrics. Although the engine seems sufficiently prepared for its high performance, it still needs much more maintenance than today customary. In addition, it must have been always driven pretty warm.
