Cold Idling (single-barrel downdraft carburetor)
Assignment
During cold idling, the carburettor should provide a somewhat richer mixture, until the engine has reached the warm idling temperature.
Function
Through the engine warmth and through the electric heating coil, the bimetal in the casing of the start automatic is warmed. The spring tension decreases and with the rising temperature, the choke flap reaches its
warm position (completely open). 01/11
