Jet Engine (aeroplane)
The figure displays a jet engine for airplanes where the single functional elements are positioned clearly apart from one another. It is more than 50 years old, constructed for teaching purposes, displaying the
compressor to the left, outside the combustion chambers and at the end just one turbine wheel. The exhaust gas resigns at an especially formed nozzle very freely from turbulences and provides for a not unsubstantial
