Motorcycle Carburetor

Solution

This is a simple motorcycle carburetor with an air-intake funnel (blue), plunger and needle-jet. The rear flange of the carburetor is clamped over the intake manifold of the engine. The air is sucked in through the air- filter up front, and then depending on the height of the plunger and the position of the tapered needle, is enriched with fuel. One of the Bowden-cable entrances is for moving the plunger and needle up and down (more, or less gas), the other is used for cold starting. 11/10
