 2025 SWM
Simply presenting the SWM G03 model, with or without 'F,' isn't enough in the long run. After all, there's a lot to discover.
First up is the G01, a 4.67 m long SUV with a large luggage compartment, but only available with a 1.5L four-cylinder turbo engine and 98 kW (133 hp). As with all of the company's vehicles, the price is very
attractive at around €24,000.
The SWM G05, also an SUV, is available at a slightly lower price of €23,000, despite having a two-liter displacement and 105 kW (143 hp). At 4.75 meters, it's even slightly longer than the G01.
However, it should be noted that the vehicles are placed quite high in fuel consumption and very low in CO2. Even if the Euro 6 emissions standard is met, taxes have long been based on WLTP
consumption.
SWM is originally an Italian motorcycle manufacturer, founded in 2014. The Chinese Shineray Group acquired the company in a joint venture with Brilliance. Automobile production began in 2016 in Chongqing, China.
Vehicles for Europe are manufactured in the former Husqvarna factory in Milan. They share a certain mission online and mention a wealth of awards they have won so far.
The three vehicles mentioned above are currently offered under the brand, including a slightly cheaper version of the G01A. It is unclear to what extent other brands, such as JAC, can be attributed to SWM.
Whether the models presented so far are future-oriented is certainly questionable. However, we can look forward to the market launch of the 'impressive selection of electric vehicles'.
