2019 Renault Espace

Not much has changed in the petrol engine, only the CO2 emissions, for example. With the gasoline engine these are nearly 10 per cent, which were added by the measurement after WLTP. For the two Diesel engines, it is even a good 16 and 13 percent more. However, both have more displacement, power and torque. There are only automatic transmissions, 7 gears on the petrol engine and 6 on the Diesel.

The Renault Espace has been around since 1984. The now presented model is the facelift of the 5th generation. A total of 1.3 million units of the Espace have been sold. In the general type confusion it is no longer simply called a 'Van', but, like so many new vehicles, a 'crossover', but with the addition of 'high-end'. It is and will remain a seven-seater loading giant, if required, which also shines with a reasonably solid towing capacity.

The front has changed, especially the radiator grille. The 'high-end' is probably taken into account with lots of chrome there, as window frames and below the waist. At the top, only the models with 18 inch rims are shown, but up to 20 inch are possible. Yes, if you look closer, the rear end has changed as well. And on top of that the most inexpensive accessory for the manufacturer, a new colour.

Below in the video you can see their effect, the new Matrix LEDs headlights. Allegedly, 220 instead of 175 meters can now be illuminated. Also in the video below is the new lane assistant. And the parking assistant now saves you from accelerating and braking. Inside in the middle is a 9.3-inch screen that measures 10.2 inches diagonally behind the steering wheel. A radio connection to the manufacturer, e.g. for software updates, should also be possible.
