In the fourth generation, the Santa Fe based on the Kia Sorento is 1 cm wider, at least 3.5 cm higher, 8 cm longer and has a 6.5 cm longer wheelbase. It now replaces the larger version. Not clear is, if it will be available with seven seats in Germany.

On the two rear seats, the side windows have been significantly enlarged. More premium design characterizes the interior. It meets the requirements of the top model of Hyundai and is most successful, too. LED headlights, LED daytime running lights and the new representative radiator grill are its hallmarks.

Although a SUV with four-wheel drive, the Santa Fe is more intended for passengers who like comfort and a less hard suspension. Even if you switch over to the selectable sports mode, this does not change very much. Hyundai TRACtion is an auto-engaging four-wheel drive that works by increasing the torque of individual wheels and allowing more dynamics on unsafe ground.

Despite a 40 liters larger cargo space, the extension of the wheelbase is probably full benefit of the knee room on the rear seats. Very much like premium affects the additional air condition here. An innocent, disregarding the backward traffic disembarking protects another assistant. Even otherwise, the Santa Fe is well equipped with helpers.

There are displays of 7 or 8 inches, in addition to many buttons as touch screens. The navigation comes from tomtom. The system fetches real-time data via the connected smartphone. The seven-year subscription to this is free, with annual updates included. 04/18
