 2024 Hyundai Ioniq 5
The Ioniq has undergone more than a facelift. And since we're most interested in battery capacity, we'll mention the increase of almost 7 kWh here first. Of course, the specification of the standard range seems
exaggerated once again.
What is much more important in winter is not to have to be satisfied with what the control system provides for preheating the battery, but that you can intervene in the proceedings yourself.
Let's start with the rear of the car, which is now 2 cm longer. The spoiler, which has been extended by 50 mm, is not really noticeable. There is now a windshield wiper at the bottom of the rear window. As always, mention
of
improving the roadway.
From the interior you can hope for even less noise from outside. The criticism of the missing buttons has led to a rethink by almost all manufacturers, including Hyundai with the selection of possible functions from the
center console.
The switch from Apple Carplay and Android Auto to wireless access is now probably standard. Efforts are also being made to achieve this from the very back with improved triggering for folding down the rear seat backs.

The lighting units are almost always 'affected' by a facelift. In this case, through the introduction of real matrix light for the first time, although again probably for the higher equipment variants.
And while we're on the subject of options, there's a sporty variant called the N-Line. This is probably little consolation for all those who mourn the production of the i20N and i30N, which will probably end very soon.
