2019 Bugatti Centodieci



Centodieci means nothing but '110', only much nicer. No, I wouldn't buy a car like that. Not only because I would not have the necessary € 8 million plus taxes, but also because it is a contradiction in terms. Actually, the form is so beautiful and precious that you shouldn't touch anything with it.


But unfortunately the well-known W16 with 8 liters capacity, which in this case even has 1,176 kW (1,600 HP), would be carry away me to deeds, which I could regret later. If the 13.3 seconds were from zero to a hundred, my current car would be about 2 seconds faster, but they are from zero to three hundred. And probably the top speed of 380 km/h can only be driven after a safety check. This is much easier with my car.


I could also afford the predecessor of my car. With the Bugatti Centodieci this would not have worked, because also its predecessor, the EB 110 from 1992 has cost nearly 700,000 DM. Again this '110', at that time the yearly distance to Ettore Bugatti's birth, today as company anniversary. After all, with a production figure of 128 at that time I might have had a chance to come into question, with only 10 copies today this is completely impossible.


Despite a displacement of only 3.5 litres with at least four cylinders already charged, the EB 110 SS in particular comes amazingly close to today's Bugatti. It is said that it took 3.5 seconds, but this time it's again to one hundred and about as much to two hundred as the new one needs to reach three hundred kilometers per hour. At the top speed even more than 340 km/h were reached. Actually an absurd thing, the two cars with among other things expensive carbon- and parts of these vehicles to the risks of normal road traffic.
