We loved it, but it was just too expensive for us, the 3-liter Audi, the only car in the world with room for five people. No wonder Audi would eventually draw on this car's history for the launch of a new compact
electric vehicle.
However, it is nearly half a meter longer and 10 centimeters wider, and certainly no lower than the A2 back then, which had a somewhat tall profile. After all, the cW is even a little more favourable than
that of the 3-liter A2, which was already very good at that time.
However, it doesn't require special wheels, and its rear backrest is foldable. And fuel consumption is likely to be similar to what it was back then. Even the price today is only about 7 percent higher, although
in euros and not in DM.
Yes, if you use your imagination, the new one still looks a little like the old one. It's noteworthy that it, too, is still built at the mother plant. If we interpret the differences between gross and net capacity correctly, the
two weaker batteries are LFP, and the stronger one is NMC.
However, it is and remains strange why the curb weight is the same for both LFP batteries despite their different capacities. Since Audi also states that the number of cells is the same, we can only assume at this
point that the battery is being used more efficiently.
In fact, this model would probably be the most sensible of all if the price didn't differ significantly from the base price. The engine power also remains fairly moderate. But one
important factor for German buyers is that it's built in Ingolstadt.
