Electromobility as the 'rebirth of the combustion engine' - you have to come up with that first. Apparently, there's even more activity among FCA's advertising professionals than in the engineering sector. Because it's been dormant for a long time. This isn't necessarily the fault of the engineers themselves; there was obviously no budget for electromobility. Now you have to catch up with such pithy sentences.

'In its efforts to make individual mobility more sustainable, Fiat has joined forces with strong partners who share a similarly positive outlook on the future, who actively want to contribute to improving the state of the planet, and who share the same values and aims.' When you read the beginning of this quote, you automatically expect a particularly specialized supplier and not a Hollywood actor.

The first limited edition is expected to cost €37,900. However, if you want to save the planet, you should offer a cheaper version as soon as possible, rather than the so-called convertible. The competitor is likely to be the other city car with a retro design, the Mini. Incidentally, it has even less capacity at 28.9 kWh net.

In any case, the advertising department can be congratulated on this presentation of the new Fiat 500e.

We're looking back at the Fiat 500e from the year 2025. The Stellantis Group is apparently in serious trouble now, and vehicles with the standard platform for small and compact cars are receiving poor ratings.

Only the Fiat 500e stands out. This is the blessing of its early birth, a pre-Stellantis creation. Their vehicles apparently have problems with the AC charging box, which they replace (usually as a goodwill gesture), although the problem isn't always resolved.

The Fiat is only affected by this when it needs to be replaced, which is obviously much less frequent. In that case, however, the replaced box doesn't always work. So we can focus on the advantages of the 500e. It's obviously a well-designed car.

It generally comes with LED lights in its goggle eyes. It's available not only as a convertible, but also with a glass sunroof and, in some cases, very special rims. The La Primera will cost around €35,000 in 2025. But that includes pretty much everything, including the pretty mat paint?

A nice interior is possible, as long as you don't take red seats (video above).

Midway between the base price and the La Primera's is the price for a version with only two right-hand doors (3+1), which open in opposite directions without a B-pillar. Of course, this doesn't increase the rear seat's space, but it does make it easier to get in.

The car continues to receive good marks over the years. Its battery is considered durable, with a loss of just over 10 percent expected over 100,000 km. No Italian problems, except perhaps for some nonsensical error messages, which can be resolved with a restart, including the 12V battery if it should be necessary.
