Artificial Intelligence 3

We've gained more experience with ChatGPT in the meantime, and we've long since signed up for a so-called 'GO' rate for €8 a month, .not excluding attempts by the AI ??to push even the 'Plus' rate on us for €103.
for €103.
However, you only get a certain number of credits for this. If your request involves asking for a composite image, it’s best to do so at the beginning. At some point, you'll get a notification that the AI is now operating at
reduced capacity.
It then specifies a time on the same day when ChatGPT is expected to be fully operational again. At first, we didn't pay much attention to this warning, except that
images were consistently blocked from that point on.
We believe in asking AI to provide a fairly wide range of information, though we always approach it with a critical eye. Unless these are questions whose answers we don't necessarily
need for our texts.
One can't help but be surprised, not only by the sheer volume, but also by how relevant it is to the present day. Some of this information is brand-new. On the other hand, if you can't find an old instruction
manual anymore, you might get lucky with AI.
However, we did carry out a special project. At some point, our series on cost-effective approaches for beginners to model railroading reached the point where we decided
we absolutely wanted to avoid buying a central control station.
We spent the whole afternoon looking, but couldn't find a single video we could recommend to beginners. In terms of hardware configuration, yes, but when it comes to software, probably not.
The aim was to connect a standard laptop or PC to a complex model railway using hardware costing less than €50. We're very familiar with Delphi-Pascal, but you can't seriously offer that
to anyone these days.
But C++ is basically available on every Windows computer. ChatGPT's first task is to guide us through the installation. If you specify exactly where you're having trouble understanding, it works, even if it
takes a little time.
And then we had the audacity to ask the AI to create a program for us. It's unbelievable what was on offer, how we could display and control the movement of trains on the screen.
To keep things simple, we settled for an oval track with a train running on it. The train also appeared as a red dot, and it was moving, though not at a constant speed, but unfortunately
in an elliptical oval.
Of course, we meant a track oval, and you spend a lot of time trying to get the AI to understand that. Unfortunately, the timeout came in the way, even though we were already very far along.
After that, things got a lot more confusing.

And lo and behold, on the first try after the timeout, almost everything was correct again. ChatGPT even agreed to our request to be guided through the individual steps, so that we were actually able to fix the
last few minor issues ourselves.
It's hard to believe, but apparently there are plenty of people who don't like the new Ferrari Luce; they fed images of it to an AI with the task of making the car a bit more Ferrari-like. And
when you look at the pictures, there are some interesting results. One of them, however, also received tailpipes.
