This is the high-pressure pump with three pistons from which two are visible in the cut. An eccentric on the internal shaft turns. During this process, a ring, which does not rotate, gliding on the eccentric, successively pushes the three pistons in TDC position. On the left the pump is driven, and on the right the gearwheel fuel lift pump is integrated. 09/08
