Gasoline injection 5
Illustrated are important components of a classic gasoline injection. In addition to the aluminum intake manifold, the
injection valves are important. They open directly into the intake manifold in front of the cylinder head. They are supplied via a somewhat larger-sized distributor tube, in this case a square-type tube. The two-pole
connections of the injection valves can also be seen clearly. The area of the fuel supply also includes the system
pressure regulator at the upper right behind the intake manifold.
We are dealing here with a system with an accelerator cable controlled throttle valve. You can see this at the
idle speed device in the foreground. It controls a bypass around the throttle. The intake manifold port on the left adjusts to that on the spring chamber of the system pressure regulator.
