Cylinder Head 2 - Addional Information
The picture below obviously displays a cut open cylinder head with overhead camshaft and two valves per cylinder. The camshaft itself consists of a pipe with cams whose position was fixed by soldering. It controls
the valves via cam followers. The centre of rotation of the cam followers is subject to change every time. This centre of rotation is formed by a small hydraulic tappet. The foremost valve is left with just this and the stem
sealing. 06/08
