Four-valve Cylinder Head

A revealing look from above into the 4 valve cylinder head. The cut displays a camshaft with hydro-bucket tappets. The red colour points towards the outlet side. The narrowly formed cam backs are interesting, decreasing the sliding friction. Furthermore the narrow space for the centrally arranged spark plugs is clearly recognizable. This explains also the decreased wrench size. Next to the spark plugs and to the right below the green space is reserved for the coolant. 06/08
