Cylinder head 8 - Four-valve
The cylinder head of a 4 valve engine is displayed. Its valves are driven by two camshafts via roller cam followers. A hydraulic tappet forms the centre of rotation of the roller cam followers. The valves are arranged in V-shapes. Clearly visible are the rolls of the roller tappets. The four openings in the middle of the cylinder head serve for the single spark ignition coils to
control the spark plugs centrally arranged in every cylinder. 06/08
