The bus as an example of rescue scenarios we have choosen deliberately, because it represents something special in this field. More people in an accident there are only in train and airplane, both not our profession. A bus accident with certainty requires higher demands on emergency personnel than the average car accident.

We can take up only a few aspects in this text. More you see in the videos. Such an aspect is the question what a rescuer actually should carry with him. E.g. a ladder or even a small car with a staircase is important because even at a bus lying on its side at least 2.5 meters height difference are to overcome for the rescue of passengers.

Rescue is so difficult because it is a combination between consideration and pace, for most people probably quite difficult. What is the use of the principle of 'first of all the people' when the vehicle during the rescue of people moves in such a way that it jeopardizes the whole action. Thus, first has in principle to pay attention to stability, in case of the always extremely heavy buses.

Perhaps the people to be rescued should remain so for a while until e.g. the engine is off and one is safe from the flow of flammable substances. One can not simply raise a bus, in order to rescue perhaps trapped persons beneath. Because raising here may perhaps bring dangerous lowering there.

The designers of buses point to the much more complex structure. There is simply not enough a sufficient lifting device, it must also be positionned in the right places. If you have, for example, a sufficiently sized crane, nevertheless, one can not easily raise only one part of the roof. What if this part of the roof yields shortly after lifting?

By the way, how to get into a bus? Is it really a good idea to break the windows with a hammer? Who endanger eventual splinters of glass? In short, we need to know about a bus and its structure quite a lot before you can rescue occupants thereof. Unfavourable if one has disconnected for security reasons all batteries, the could have helped to open the bus. 12/14
