Multidisc Clutch 2

Solution

The torque coming from the engine is transferred with engaged clutch from the small gearwheel in the rear to the right onto the big gearwheel to the left and thus to the gearbox. All around the ball bearing a holder is fastened with five screws, taking up the clutch (coil) springs. They press the large lid in the direction of the engine and provide for an interference fit in the fin package of the multi- disk clutch. If the lid is pressed by a push rod against the springs outwardly, the clutch has moved out and the interference fit between the crankshaft of the engine and the big gearwheel is interrupted. 06/08
