The powder coating is also applied by electric charging. It takes up more and
more space in the finishing area, because in this process, no vapours or solvents develop. At the moment, it is particularly used, e.g., with tubular frames. Solid components are applied to a metallic layer which is,
after pre-treatment and interim drying, electrically conductive. Following this it is then dried using a higher temperature, thereby, from the the powder, which always has the same colour, various colours emerge. Such
a coating is extremely resistant, the metal can even be dented without it showing any visible paintwork damage. 05/11
