Engine in detail
In the above picture, the engine is shown from the clutch side with the coil-spring clutch. On the right, a complete cylinder-side, with the aluminium alloy cylinder head and the two single cast iron cylinders. Very typical,
are the metal cylinder head covers on each side which were sealed using a thick cork gasket. Nothing had to be screwed on, the cylinder head cover was held in place by a slightly tensioned spring clamp.In the
background on the right, the slightly smaller petrol pump which was installed a little later, next to this, the black engine oil cooler, and on the left, the mounting support for the generator can be seen.
