The alleged only VW concerning scandal
This is not just a VW scandal. It probably affects the entire car industry and not least the published opinion. Humans make mistakes, and are likely to prepare themselves too quickly for the next mistake by generalizing
acknowledgment. People also understandably tend to extricate themselves from tense situations.
But it is also quite a matter of preeminence in such an action. Example compliant? In its latest edition, the German 'Die Zeit' reports that VW had already been informed in the US last year by the ICCT investigations
and that in December 2014 a recall campaign with nearly half a million vehicles had taken place.
And here, so-called experts still surmise, whether the managing board knew about it. At all, research seems to exhaust itself in interviewing people who have little idea. If a topic is urgent, a so-called 'journalist' only
uses his telephone. Reading is hardly yet demanded, which is why hardly anyone seems to take notice of the above mentioned article.
Actually it would have been the task of the auto-journalism, to clarify trickery with legal requirements. But at least this branch of the press is deeply linked with the interests of car-industry.
Politicians also give little hope as long as ministerial commissions are formed, pretending to find what the ministry already knows. In interviews they admitted that they knew of differences between tests and reality,
but not of tricks. But in a response of the Ministry of Transport last summer on a request from the Green party there is expressly talk of 'switch-off software'.
Because hardly anyone else reads, the accused try to escape with excuses, which could easily be identified as a lie. From a few journalists you could learn how to be so well prepared that the
conversation partner cannot evade without the audience realising that. Just look at foreign news services, then you'll see how strangely portioned we are informed.
Obviously, the other manufacturers are holding back for good reason. The older ones will still remember the crisis of Daimler with the Elk test. By the way, it was only possible for foreign journalists to force the
industry. First it was only the A-Class, then the Smart and with a certain distance followed some others. This is how it will come this time.

Road tests are required. Well roared lion, but you have also considered, how many stipulations it takes, so that not again new tricks arise. Even the rules for the previous tests fill shelf walls. And who can help only in
setting such rules? You guessed it, the engineers of the car industry. 09/15
