With Hashtag 3 we were still talking about the 'compact electric car market'. However, Hashtag 5 is clearly leaving this market behind, so Mercedes is now clearly competing with itself.
And if the price really does start at around 50,000 euros, then even more. Yes, the alliance with Gheely is bearing fruit. It's hard to believe that Mercedes played a decisive role in the styling. Mercedes is a little proud of it.
Any explicit dislike could actually only be justified by reservations about large cars. What does that still have to do with the Smart brand? It seems that they rely heavily on the human ability to forget.
However, you are reminded of the capabilities of the on-board electronics during each charging process. And tests have shown that it is already working very promisingly. The manufacturer even promises up to 420 kW, but
that is probably too much for almost all charging stations.
This promises rapid progress with extremely short forced breaks. Is this what electric mobility of the future looks like? And inside, there is unparalleled (spatial) comfort: safety belts in the seat with curtain and cushion
airbags. Again, basically the three displays, the right one for the front passenger.

It is already clear what accessories will be offered. In the picture below you can see the ladder at the back right, which makes it easier to organize things on the roof. There you can also choose to have a tent or at least a
significantly extended roof rail.
The seats are adjustable to the point of sleeping and the speakers extend when in use. To accommodate any change of heart the lighting can be adjusted. The Smart Avatar Leo with AI-based voice assistance is also
included free of charge.
