Renault Captur

The face-lightened version can be recognized at the C-shaped daytime running lights instead of the chrome surrounded area of the fog lights earlier. It has become a bestseller for Renault since 2013.

The 'C' of the front is picked up again in the LED rear lights (picture at the top). LED headlamps can be ordered for an extra charge. Also optional is the panoramic roof, available with many combinations of two-color finishes (pictures above).

In addition, the trim strips on the cooler, side protector and trunk lid are available in ivory, blue, brown, red and orange. Renault praises the possibilities of personalization. But the display behind the steering wheel seems somewhat exaggerated with a small digital tacho and large-area tank indicator for 45 liters only. Also the small display in a larger piano lacquer environment.

The engines are all slightly improved. No petrol one has more than 1.2 liters, no diesel more than 1.5 liters displacement. However, the fact that the strongest diesel with 81 kW (110 hp) only produces 180 km/h suggests unfavorable aerodynamics or cross-sectional area. It is also strange that the tires differ front and rear by a slight cross-section. 04/17
