The hump in the roof is gone and and it fits excellently. Its sense was to allow rear seat passengers more headroom. No idea how one has compensated the now missing millimeters, may be a little bit by 5 millimeters more overall height. Anyway, the length of 5 meters is now concealed a little better.
He remains a particularly sporting car of the luxury class with a large tailgate. The cargo area is not huge, but who would ever think, to transport a washing machine with such a car. The payload is more than adequate, the empty weight certainly more than that.
The petrol engines have lost displacement, the strongest even 0.8 liters. All now have a Bi-Turbo, which involves less fuel consumption with higher possible performance. The diesel has particularly put on torque. Also it will be available from now on only with permanent all-wheel drive and eight-speed double clutch transmission.
A few highlights: triple-chamber air suspension, rear axle steering and active roll compensation. The cockpit still consists of a tachometer in the middle, as usual, and two small screens left and right, so that again are to be seen five instruments (see picture below). In the middle a 12.3 touch screen, fully integrated into the line of the dashboard. Here and in the center console keys with tactile feedback would be useful.
The LED headlamps have 84 light points individually to disable, to prevent glare very precisely. We do not list all the other assistants, hope to find them in the standard equipment. But in the case of Porsche one cannot be sure despite such basic prices. On the other hand, that is advantageous, because this car in masses could not be good for the environment. 06/16
