It's not the first time we select images by the manufacturer. And while you do that, you consider what is special at this car. Naturally the rear doors, the open forwardly are noticed at first. The call additional attention, e.g. with an increase of the lower window edge the on each side re-attaches at the back door.

Actually, the concept of the door can only be combined with enough wheelbase. For the rear door must have a relatively vertical rear edge because of the hinges. This it obviously makes smaller than a door top very obliquely backwards itself opening. One wonders whether the negative consequences are not too big compared with the advantages.

As you can see from the pictures, a narrow B-pillar remains. A third side window saves the body the obliquely back looming complexity. The styling of the side wall can be regarded as succeeded, also, and especially how the door handles at different heights integrates itself in the ascending line.

It is said that the new Meriva has similarity with the Insignia. That may now be certainly true for the meanwhile to recognize as typical Opel face. The transverse chrome strip appears rear pleasantly more discreet. It's well resolved that it just do not run into the rear lights, but continues as reversing lights.

Allow finally just some heretical remark. If the car would have a more neutral front, I would like to install a Mercedes star rear instead of the Opel emblem and the type designation. Let's see who notices it. 11/13
