The i-MMitsubishi innovative Electric Vehicle doesn#t exist only within the Mitsubishi model range. The European variant is adopted as Peugeot iOn and Citroën C-Zero by the French manufacturer PSA. There, however, it has 10 percent less capacity. The from the battery available 16 kWh and with careful driving a consumption of about 13 kW per 100 km may enable a range of about 120 km.
There is a smaller Japanese variant according to the Kei-car dimensions and a larger American version (see table above), which provides only 100 kilometers, but not particularly well sold in USA. Leader is Japan followed by Norway and France, all countries in which the purchase is subsidized. Up and down is the movement of the sales price for the car. 2010 the i-MiEV in Germany costs € 34,900, today only € 23,790. It is meantime € 6,000 cheaper than the Peugeot iOn and now € 4,400 more expensive.
Since 2014 the i-MiEV ES (video below) exists. It has a port for faster charging, a battery-warning system, heated side mirrors and is significantly cheaper in USA. There you have to pay after deduction of the largest subsidies only 15,495, in California $ 13,000. 05/16
