2017 Mercedes Marco Polo HORIZON
No, Marco Polo is not one of the great world champions around 1500, like the Portuguese Vasco da Gama, who has found the sea route to India, or the Italian Christopher Columbus, who has probably missed it.
Marco Polo was already far away from 1260 onwards on the country way to China.
Marco Polo and his team needed 6 years. The travel group, which is every year from Düsseldorf with motorhomes on the 16.137 km long trip to the caravaning fair in Beijing in June (video above) 10 weeks. So the
name fits already and since 2017 there is the version HORIZON in cooperation with Westfalia.
Seven people will probably not make long journeys, but it would be possible. In the ACTIVITY version only five are possible, but in both as many sleeping places. In the basic version of the Marco Polo can rest only four,
but for that has a noble kitchen with table and cabinets aboard. HORIZON is otherwise an ACTIVITY with a higher quality design.

The prices are of course Mercedes-like. We have not tried it, but you can bring the price to over 100,000 €. After all, the price list 'only' contains about 30 pages. The C-Class comes e.g. to nearly 100, with only 5 pages
for technical data. The pure large-room limousine, now again called V-Class, costs from 44,018 €.
No, you can not camp properly with any of the three. Almost too valuable is the equipment. If something goes wrong, often when camping, either the costs are high or the beautiful design is damaged. We have the
impression, also the new HORIZON is rather something for businessmen, with high roof not for sleeping but for standing upright. 08/17
