2018 Mercedes C-63 Coupé





The new C63 will also be available again as a sedan, model T and convertible. On the V8 biturbo nothing has changed in terms of performance. It is available again with 350 kW (476 hp) and as S-version with 375 kW (510 hp).

New in the C-Class is the AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT transmission with nine gears. In the picture below you can see the four-wheel version together with the shaft to the front axle drive. In this automatic the torque converter is replaced by an almost as much space-taking, wet multi-plate clutch. With the transmission, the driving programs have changed.


At the front, an AMG version has a different radiator grille, inside it is only available with digital display with special, to these versions related ads. The AMG steering wheels have also been changed. At least 78,300 or 86,600 euros must continue to be expected.

C 63 S: Locking differential electronically instead of mechanically at the rear

It is interesting that in spite of the same engine size and more fuel-efficiency of the gearbox, the CO2 emissions are estimated to be about 10 percent higher, probably a tribute to the new test conditions. 03/18
