2015 Mazda 6

A very early facelift affects the front end not really striking. The headlights are optionally convertible to full-LED and the grille appears with its dark graphite background, the transverse struts and the worked out Logo somewhat noble and three-dimensional.

The dashboard has changed more. The selection of materials is praised generally. One compares him favorably with premium cars. The orderliness adversely affects the steering wheel, which looks slightly overloaded. The display in the middle of the dashboard seems to be smaller than diagonal 7-inch.

The engines are still the same, unfortunately the converter automatic, too. Only Diesel engines are to be combined with all-wheel drive. All of them are quiet, noise is only produced by the body when driving faster. On the other hand, the manufacturer concedes it a pretty good drag coefficient.

Overall, the Mazda 6 is a car that remains inconspicuous in the middle with reasonable entry prices, leaving away any unnecessary stuff like an electrically operated tailgate and rear seat backrests devided into three parts. May be one of the reasons that the car is more lightweight than the competition, but this doesn't reflect in a low fuel consumption. 06/16
