The market shares of Hyundai in Europe rise despite the crisis. The previous i10 to have had in its segment a share of 6 percent by Hyundai information. This one might even improve, because its design is largely developed in Germany (Russelsheim).

The engines are old acquaintances. Thus, the three-cylinder originates from Daihatsu, not necessarily the worst choice. A whole range of small cars, including Toyota, Peugeot and Citroen are driven by it. It is not excessively rough for a three-cylinder engine and to drive economical with appropriate driving style.

The i10 will not manufactured in Germany but in a newly extended plant in Turkey. For that even capacities from India were relocated there.
