The orders have more than doubled in 1912 and will continue to increase 1913. In spring the first assembly line is set up. It takes some time before a saving effect is achieved. Even extensive pretests are necessary. This change affects only the flywheel manufacturing. Which is particularly complex in the model T because here are manufactured the magnets for ignition and other electricity and installed at the flywheel.
Henry Ford tried more and more to become the sole owner of his company. In 1913, the Dodge brothers want to abandon slowly because their dividends suffer under the lowering of the T-price and the bonuses to employees. They have although until now but no longer supplied the entire substructure of a car, but still parts. This they want to give up now. As part owner of the Ford Motor Company they have earned enough money, so that they can think of their own automobile production now. Yet another company that will be a competitor with Henry Ford's help (unintentionally). 08/13
