2025 Fiat Grande Panda

The Fiat Grande Panda is technically related to the Citroën ë-C3.

Let's start with a Grande Panda, which has our favorite color, namely red. With this version, there is no extra charge. But what do you think of the rims?

The base of the hybrid version still has halogen lights.

Now this car finally has at least one accessory that reminds us a little of the origin of its name, but we can't get excited about it. However, we understand people who can this. The color of the rims is polarizing.

Look at the wheel arches, they are actually much too big, otherwise it wouldn't need such wide coverings. You can imagine that the inner wheel arches also waste a lot of space because the car is also available with larger tires.

This is actually an electric economy vehicle. But why it is designed so high-legged? It doesn't have all-wheel drive, of course, and its engine is also rather weak, at least for off-road use.

It can't get any more boxy than this when the front indeed doesn't resemble a wall unit, but rather a pixelated sideboard. And yet the upper rear edge limits the seating comfort on the back seat so much that you hardly have any legroom.

Antenna to unscrew before the car wash

Does such a short car really have to have over 360 liters of luggage space? At least you can fold down the back seat. However, the luggage space is deep, without a complicated loading floor. Of course, there is then a step to the back seat backrests.

We like best what Fiat offers best for an extra €3,000: 17-inch instead of 16-inch rims, 60/40 split rear seat, darkened rear windows, special style of dashboard, cell phone instead of center display, only manual air conditioning, outside mirrors without any electrics, no rear camera, only sensors at the rear, inductive cell phone charging. All of that can easily be left out.

The predecessor was also very striking, but we liked it better.

Sure, there might be something that is sorely missed, but how else would saving work? Much worse would be an intervention in the battery or charging capacity. Fortunately, you can also leave out this ridiculous charging cable at the front without regret, then you at least have three-phase charging at home, which you don't have with the cable.

Actually, 43.8 kWh net and 100 kW charging capacity aren't that bad, but please don't do it with such a tall block. 17.4 kWh/100km is simply too much and 320 km range is too little, considering how exaggerated these values are anyway.
