The Bugatti 51 descends from the 35 B. Common with it, it has a very successful racing career, including a first place at the Grand Prix in Monaco 1931. But also circuit racings over longer distances it could win. Thus it became one of the most successful racing cars of his company.
Even the engine start is not without problems, must yet after opening of the the fuel tap, the activation of pressure by hand, the early adjustment of the ignition and the increased idling in a professional manner rotate the crank. This is not done by uniform rotation but rather jerky. Then comes the difficulty, thread themselves behind the wheel and maintain this position in curves. After all, one have at this racing car a passenger, where oneself can be indeed supported, but who possibly does this in the same way.
