Around 1933, the initial startup of the automobile design was overcome, and firms began to build cars of the lower middle class. Already in 1935 a large sedan was thought of, which received the existing 6-cylinder engine, slightly enlarged. The 326 was special, because it showed for the first time the narrower form of the double grill, taken up repeatedly as a design feature later on.
