BMW 2000 CS
The 2000 CS was the first coupe built by Karmann, transferring the responsibility of the 'new class' partly to Karmann. Its shape with its clearly worked out 'waistline' polarized, but the car almost offered two full-size seats in the rear, increasing its everyday use enormously. This car also marked the start of another interesting period, lasting until today. The trend of the niche thinking for automobiles.
It is important to know which cars were regarded as coupe at that time. Most often, it was the 2-door version of the sedan, with a slightly shortened substructure, and a bevel rear. Front and rear remained unchanged. Compared with such options, this coupe is a real enrichment. Unfortunately, the price, was hefty, close to double the amount of the sedan.
