 2017 Audi SQ 5
At the moment, the proportion of Diesel decreases to the same extent, as the proportion of gasoline increases, no, ordinary gasoline, not powered by natural gas. That would be at least CO2 neutral. So
it
is devastating, especially on SUVs.
After all, the developers at Audi have succeeded in the transition from the Diesel engine since 2012 to the current gasoline engine 2017. The CO2 output even decreased by 13 g/km. However, the former
torque of 650 Nm is unattainable for the present engine.
The automatic with 8 speed has remained, but now switches to freewheel mode between 55 and 160 km/h when the gas is released. In the same way, the so-called B-cycle process with a higher basic compression
should reduce the higher fuel consumption compared to the earlier Diesel engine. If you follow the test reports, it will not be that convincing. But maybe Audi once again has the courage to offer a Diesel in addition.
However, because of possibly missing driving dynamics it does not have to be. This is a domain of the SQ5, despite high SUV body and weight. In addition to the adjustable suspension there is the more rear-wheel
drive trimmed differential, which can give the outer wheel even more torque in curves, so that the car does not even come to the idea to understeer.
When braking, it is even similar to motorized sedans. Even inside you do not have to miss anything compared to the other premium class, not any assistants. The voice input is in tests sometimes highly praised and
then savaged again. It seams to belong to, who speaks there. The MMI is normally only criticised as being to old-fashioned. 02/18
