It is the first new car after the sale of Aston Martin to a group of investors. The time in the Ford group has done the brand well. It has been invested enormously and the quality improved greatly. However, one should suspect also with regard to the price that the prodution volume keep within a limit. Therefore buyers will have to expect a delivery time, owners the pleasant feeling, to meet not all too often their own car.
Right critical is not to learn from the test reports on the V8 Roadster. Especially praised is the engine, which is able to produce various sounds. One only need to steer it with the throttle accordingly. The same probably applies to the from paddles to operate automated manual transmission. Obviously, you miss not even the electronic driveaway control, the self-locking differential seems to suffice despite the engine power. Also rarely the testers seem to get into the control range of the ESP. Too good is the chassis including the balanced weight distribution. So it remains for a few fault-findings, rightly about the recent, significant weight gain, which can not be explained only with convertible stiffeners.
