Aspark OWL

Whether the owl is a symbol of special acceleration, one can certainly have a different mind on this point. In any case, the car seems to have a special acceration. It is reported to be even faster to 100 km/h than a Bugatti Chiron with about 1,100 kW (1,500 hp), namely in 2 instead of in 2.4 seconds.

In addition to this fact, the exciting body presumably from carbon and the wing (swing) doors, the possible short-term boosting of the two E-motors, which are with 40 kW (54 hp) actually much too weak, but their power supply by capacitors is remarkable.

Despite its very low dry weight of 850 kg, the car is probably only capable of carrying batteries with a capacity of up to 150 km according to the manufacturer's specification. But apparently, the (also) rechargeable capacitors are responsible for the power explosion of the electric motors.

In the picture, you see very early attempts by BMW with capacitors, apparently abandoned, but in the context of short-term recorded and directly reloaded charge perhaps nevertheless promising and easy. In any case, the two engines of this vehicle each then develop 160 kW (218 hp) and together 760 Nm. The 30 planned cars of this Aspark model can run be about 280 km/h and be bought in two years for a little more than 3 million euros10/17
